This morning my Alexa echo dot was blinking yellow. While researching online I found out it was a message. I asked Alexa to read my message but was told that I did not have any. I then asked Alexa to read my notification and there was one. The day before I asked a question about a product and someone answered it. Therefore a blinking yellow can be a message or notification.
